Full Name: kamala kanta rath
Profile: I'm an ex-student of Beldih Church School. I studied Upper Kinder Garten and then from Std-2 to Std - 9(continuosly),after that I had to leave Jamshedpur.
I'm a Cartoonist by profession. Beside this I also do graphic designing and Illustrations. At present, I'm working in a Design and Printing Firm 'LIPEESCAN' as the Design Director. Before this I've worked different newspaper, magazine houses of Orissa. I had also worked as a Faculty of Graphic Designing in the Loyola Centre for Communication & Culture. It was in this institute that I got the opportunity to work with Fr. George A. Hess, the man who inspected our school before we got the ICSE board affiliation.
I've exhibited my works in many Solo and Joint exhibitions, . Participated in the International Photography and Cartoon exhibition - PIX & TOON, held at Bhubaneswar in 2002 and Shillong in 2003, organised by Photo & Mission Inc.(USA). The upcoming solo exhibition of my Cartoons is at Guwahati(ASSAM)on 26-27th May, 2007.( I invite all my schoolmates staying at Guwahati to visit my exhibition)
I love working with children especially drawing painting and doing cartoons with them. I've the opportunity of participating in many children workshops throughout the Eastern India(including the NE states)
