Jamshedpur, May 11: Recently, a junior school student of Dayanand Public School — situated on the bylane leading to Pipeline Road — had to be hospitalised after a speeding vehicle hit him while he was crossing the road.

Though he survived, the school began a plantation drive in the adjacent area to keep the little ones from directly stepping on to the road.

Jamshedpur, April 12: “It is becoming increasingly difficult to retain a job in the contemporary world thanks to cut-throat competition today,” said Manish Kumar of DAV school, Dhanbad, speaking on whether getting a job is more difficult than retaining it.

While a host of speakers from various parts of the state spoke on the topic, the second topic, whether the BPO industry is flourishing or dwindling, saw speakers share information at the intra-state elocution contest this evening.
